About the WaKeeney Senior Apartments

The WaKeeney Senior Apartments are designed for Seniors. One of the residents of each apartment must be at least 50 years old. This makes for a quiet atmosphere with no children living in the complex.

Small house pets are allowed to live in the apartments but do require a small one-time non-refundable deposit. These provide companionship to our residents without disturbing others.

Residents may use the community room for family gatherings and to play cards or other activites with their fellow tenants, and quests. Along with community room there are also two community lounge areas location at the other two entrances.

Tenants get together for coffee each week at 10:00 on Thursdays in the community room. This encourages socialization and is a chance for the manager to pass along information about upcoming events. In addition, once a month, a pot-luck lunch is shared by all those who wish to attend.
